Admission Process

DAV Public School Gurgaon is primarily meant to cater to the educational aspirations of the students and parents residing in Gurgaon. Below we have mentioned the admission procedure of DAV Gurgaon for the academic session 2023-24. Admission to DAV Public School Gurgaon is made offline modes. Admission in Pre-Nursery, LKG	Registration Fee is  1000/- which is non-refundable. Forms will not be accepted after noon on 23.08.2023. Incomplete/Incorrect Application forms will not be considered. Submission of an application does not guarantee admission. It will depend on the number of vacancies available. The decision of the School Admission Committee for admission would be final. Transport facilities will be available on existing routes only. EWS Category candidates must apply separately on the same dates. Forms for the EWS category may be collected from the school office between 10.00 am to 1.00 pm on the above dates. Admission will be done on the basis of the parameters mentioned below. A list of the draw of lots will also be put up if required. (This refers to applicants with the same value points in a tie for the remaining seats). In the case of twins, both the sibling will get points. In a situation of a draw of lots, the names of both will be considered in a single chit so that together both are either selected or not considered for admission.
Age Criteria	Pre-Nursery: Age Requirement 2½+ years as on 01.04.2022. LKG: Age Requirement 3½+ years as of 01.04.2023.
Admission in Other Classes	Admission in classes I to IX is subject to the availability of vacancies. Admission criteria and other details are notified as and when applicable.
Admission in XI Class	Admission has a limited number of seats which would be allotted based on the Admission Test and interaction. Please note that submission of the Registration Form or Registration does not ensure admission. Registration Fee is not refundable. Fill up the Application Proforma and get it checked at the Reception to get the details for Registration.
Eligibility Criteria	Science Stream: Student must have 85% & above in aggregate of 5 main subjects in Pre-Board Exams. Commerce Stream: Student must have 80% & above in aggregate of 5 main subjects in Pre-Board Exams. Humanities Stream: Student must have 80% & above in aggregate of 5 main subjects and 85% and above in Math if opting for Math in Pre-Board Exams.

Document Required

All documents listed below should be produced in original at the time of verification/ admission and self-attested photocopies to be submitted with the registration forms.

• Birth Certificate – Issued to the child by the Municipal Corporation (Attested photocopy with the form and Original at the time of Admission).
• Proof of Residential Address – Passport/ Water Bill/ Electricity Bill/ Telephone Bill (Landline or Post Paid Mobile Bill)/ Election Commission Photo ID Card/ Driving Licence/ Aadhaar Card/Ration Card/ Gas Connection Bill/ Photocopy of Passbook of running Bank Account/ Income Tax Assessment Order/ Registered Rent Agreement along with one Identity Proof of the parents. The school will also verify the residential address through home visits.
• Photograph of the child – Recent coloured Passport-size photograph of the child clicked in the month of July/August to be affixed.
• For LKG Student Proof of Sibling – Photocopy of Latest Fee slip or Identity card (Applicable only for Real brother/sister of Sec-14 branch)
• For LKG Student Proof of Alumni (Only for D.A.V. Public School, Sector-14 Gurugram) – Senior Secondary/ Secondary Board Certificate. (Applicable only for parents of the child seeking admission)
• For LKG Student Single Mother – A valid legal document certifying the same.
